Kelsey Kanthack, Esq.
Kelsey Kanthack specializes in business litigation, trial work and negotiation. As a member of Rossman, P.C.’s trial teams which handle matters concerning partnership, fiduciary and contractual breaches, and various business torts.
Kelsey has contributed to successful outcomes in a variety of matters, including the following:
➢ Key member of a trial team that secured a $5 million Jury Verdict in Oakland County Business Court in 2025 (read the verdict).
➢ Negotiated substantial settlement on behalf of minority shareholder whose shares were never officially documented.
➢ Chief litigator and negotiator in settling a contentious family dispute involving business and estate matters.
➢ First chair in the Michigan Court of Appeals in a commercial contract dispute defending dismissal achieved in trial court.
Kelsey is a member of the Privately Held Businesses Forum, a committee of the Michigan State Bar, and the Young Lawyers Section. She volunteers her time each year to the production of the State Bar of Michigan Business Law Symposium. She is also a member of the Young Lawyers Section.
After earning her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, Kelsey practiced law at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, where she managed a substantial docket of cases and legal matters. In addition to her business work, Kelsey is also skilled in immigration law.
In law school, Kelsey was a Law Review Notes Editor and Trustee Scholar. She received her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University, magna cum laude, in Behavioral Science and Spanish.
